Slamdunk da Funk…
Day three of birthday extravaganza was the Slamdunk festival all dayer at leeds uni. Bearing in mind i was extremely fragile from the weekends shenagins thus far i wasn’t sure i was gonna hack it having only had 4 hours sleep and returning home hours before kick off! But a photographers work is never done and i couldn’t bear the thought of passing up on seeing Alkaline Trio live for free!
This festival was ridiculous! If i was ten years younger id of been having the time of my life! just as well the crowd was about ten years younger and full of cider! 6 stages of punk bands and thousands of pissed up teenagers = insanity!
Got some fantastic snaps including four year strong, alkaline trio, against me!, we are the ocean and rolo tomassi and it was well worth getting outta bed for!
I’ll whap my snaps up when they are edited, a feat i’m not looking forward to! must shot about 1100 images. phewf!
So today has been spent shopping and a brief few songs at gaslight club at oporto before heading back to my lair to prepare for the ‘back to work’ feeling.
Still only 3 days of work until my actual birthday weekend where i shall be hitting Rough Beats Festival, firmly and possibly with a stick!
